Given developing events in the world, we’ve decided to replace our regular Partners Blog content this week with a letter to our blog subscribers about COVID-19. As you know, the world is facing unprecedented challenges, and the publishing community is no exception. Things are changing so quickly that it’s difficult to know how to navigate these times as an author or publisher.
We believe that despite the turbulent times, your stories will continue to be so important to readers, especially as a way to help people escape from and cope with this moment. As a result, we’re committed to continuing to help our partners connect with readers during this challenging time.
In the coming weeks, here on the BookBub Partners Blog we’ll be sharing ideas and examples of how authors and publishers are engaging with readers in this rapidly changing landscape. We’ll also continue providing some of our usual marketing best practices and guest posts that will help you get your stories into the hands of people who need bright moments or escapes in their days.
We’d like to hear from you about what content would be most helpful to you during this time. Let us know in the comments below if you have specific questions, or if you’re facing challenges that you’d like to see how other authors and publishers are navigating. We’ll do our best to address these in upcoming posts. The publishing community has always been one that feeds off collaboration and the sharing of ideas. We’ll continue to uphold those values here on the Partners Blog by creating a space for authors and marketers to learn from and support one another through this difficult time.
We wish all of our partners and their families good health. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to partners@bookbub.com whenever you have questions about how BookBub can help.
