This ad image zooms in on the book’s cover and prominently features the title, both of which hint at the genre and the setting. It uses two brightly-colored banners to highlight important information: where readers can get the book and that the book is a new release.
4. Emma St. Clair, A Holly Jilly Christmas
This ad — which ran in December — uses simple copy and a winter wonderland–inspired background to entice readers. The blue background contrasts nicely with the red “Read Now” button to encourage people to click on the ad.

Highlighting popular tropes of your book in an ad image is a great way to capture the interest of new readers! This ad also includes a bold, white “new” banner, plus all the retailers and book formats available to readers.

This ad uses a unique background image to set the tone for the book it features. The description of the book highlights themes that are sure to encourage interested readers to click!
9. T. O. Paine, The Excursion
This ad uses an intriguing quote sure to spark the interest of any thriller reader. It highlights key information in a bright yellow color to let readers know that this book is both new and available at a great price!
10. Cindy Kirk, This Thing Called Love in Good Hope
This ad also uses a bright color to draw attention to the fact that it’s a new release. The sweet genre-appropriate cover, the new release banner, and the wonderful 5-star review come together to create a compelling ad for romance fans.
